I do so love the double five generation photograph of fatima jane stanley richards and the family. My great grandmother is being held in her mother's arms at the age of 2 yrs.
Myself and another family member have sat down and have been able to identify half of the people in the photo.
Thank you for sharing the photo to the world.
Shaun K. Young

P.s. I am still looking for mor info on the family, hoping you might have what I need. Thank you...

Hi Lorelle! Thanks for stopping by!

I'm a big WordPress fan, although I don't totally understand it all. I've followed your blog for a long time as it's such a great learning resource!

I hope to participate in your blog exercises series. My job has been very crazy lately, but I have a new boss now, so I'm hoping things will settle down again.

Any chance that your college WordPress class could go online someday? I'm a little too far away to attend in person... :)

Have a great day!

Thank you for the link to my blog exercises series. Will you be participating?

I use genealogy and family history research often as an example in my exercises and tips, so there will be some helpful information related to genealogy as we go alone. I also teach a family history blogging and web writing course in Vancouver, Washington, near Portland, if you are interested or would like to recommend it to those wishing to learn more about family history and web writing.

Thanks!

Hi Jim, thanks for stopping by!
I've been looking for used copies of Evidence Explained on eBay and Amazon, but the used ones are more expensive than the new book for Genealogical.com. Goodness! Very popular resource, I guess. But I'll get one soon, I hope. After the holidays, if I have any money left over... :)

Have a great day!

Evidence Explained is a great resource. Lucky for me I won this book and a couple more at a genealogical conference I went to. Normally you can find used copies of books on line for a lot less. Unfortunately this book is not one of those. Looks like whoever buys it loves the book and just keeps it, otherwise there would be used copies of the book available on line at some discount.

Regards, Jim
