• A strong and healthy first grandson who almost didn’t make it into this world
• A strong and healthy youngest daughter who almost didn’t survive the arrival of my first grandson
• A happy and healthy oldest daughter and her family who live right across the street from me
• A granddaughter who is wonderful and smart and happy and survived the Swine Flu
• A job that, much as I complain about it, is still a job that pays the bills and allows me to live a good life
• A father who is alive and healthy and active at age 80
• A grandmother who is alive and healthy at age 93
• An extended family who really came together to support each other during a difficult time
• A hobby that fills my days (and nights) with a burning desire to find that last piece of the puzzle
• A country that is strong and free
