• Create at least 1 “Ambassador” post
• INDEX, INDEX, INDEX!!!
• And starting on Monday, 2 April 2012 at 8AM (Texas Time)- WHO NEEDS SLEEP!!!

I must confess that I did very little database research this past week. Simply put, I was caught up in the mass hysteria that preceded this morning’s release of the 1940 U S Census by the NARA. Not a bad thing, actually. I feel like I am ready to search for my ancestors without the benefit of an every-name index. I have done my homework and read everything I could find online that dealt with the subject, and created several blog posts.

Now, if I could only access the 1940 U S Census images!

I have contended all along that I would wait a few days to search, as I expected the 1940 U S Census site to crash almost immediately after it went live this morning, which it did.

But still, Mom is waiting for me…
