I have gotten a lot of work done this week. I’m getting used to my new schedule at work, not so tired all the time.

Genealogical serendipity struck this past week, when my cousin Susan alerted me to the availability of some original Hill County, Texas marriage documents. I am very fortunate to be receiving the marriage records of 3 couples, including one that proves the second marriage of my 3GGM Susan William Lee Martin. Sweet!

Along with other indexing I’ve been doing (Texas records), I also completed indexing both of the simulated 1940 U S Census pages. This year’s version of the Federal Census has some interesting twists:)

Plans for this week:

  • Research and document my findings for
  1. James Arthur Matthews, Jr
  2. Isaac Matthews
  3. Ira Matthews
  4. Sena Mae Matthews
  5. Fred Bowie Matthews
  • Update both my FreePages site and WorldConnect database and email a RootsMagic backup to my Gmail account
  • Add 2 direct-line ancestors to my research wiki
  • Week #12 post for 52 Weeks of Abundant Genealogy
  • Create at least 1 “Ambassador” post
  • INDEX, INDEX, INDEX!!!
