After reading Pat Geary’s free ebook, Working With RootsWeb FreePages Accounts, I decided a total revamp of my genealogy site(s) was in order. I have had a FreePages account for several years, but have used it minimally, loaded with only a simple website created by RootsMagic.
For this task, I need some new tools:
- BlueGriffon- a free open source WYSIWYG HTML editor
- Web Album Generator- a free program to create an online image gallery
- Filezilla- a free open source FTP program (not really new, used for years, love it!)
