I don’t have as much data on my Carrico ancestors as I’d like. My second great-grandfather Crist Hayes Carrico was one of my major brick walls until about 3 years ago. The kindness of a fellow ROAGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) volunteer shattered that wall in a matter of days and revealed the heart-breaking story of a man lost to alcohol and a broken family.
Bill, they may be related somewhere down the road. I’ll keep your Alexander in mind!

Ruth
Ruth,
Thanks for the reply. Probably related, but different branch of the family! I appreciate your reply!
Bill
Hi Bill,
Thanks for stopping by!
My Carricos before Benjamin Carrico came from Kentucky, I think. Haven’t conclusively established that just yet. A couple of census entries support that, but I’ll need more data. I do have Benjamin in a 1881 Missouri business directory as a grocer in Stoddard County, MO. I really haven’t looked too deep yet.
Have a great day!
Ruth
