Today would have been my Mom’s 74th birthday:

It’s been almost 11 years, Mom, and I miss you and think of you often.

We’re all doing well. I think Dad is happy and has a lady who loves him and takes good care of him. I think you’d like her.

Sarah and Deb and Stacie are doing great, too, and I know you’d be crazy about your new great-grandson Justin. He’s spoiled rotten already, thanks to me!

Nanny is well, although hardly able to get around anymore, thanks to her knees. Otherwise, she is quite healthy.

If you see a chubby calico cat carrying a little pink ball around, that’s Leaky. Please give her a hug for me and tell her how much I love her and miss her, too. I’m sure she’ll recognize you and will stay with you and Garfie and Silly. Give them a hug, too!
