Ruth's Genealogy

“And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.”

Family Search Labs has added the index to Texas Deaths, 1890-1976! I have so many ancestors who died in Texas during that time period….I don’t even know where to start! I have just done a few quick searches and have already found about 30 records. Now these are just the indexes, not the actual documents. But they may show dates of birth & death, dates of burial, location of birth & death, parents & spouses names, even children’s names. I have filled in a bunch of holes already! Of course, this info will not be official until I get the actual documents, but…WOW!!!

Here is what I found for my very long-lost 2nd great-grandfather. My previous belief was that he had died in Wyoming:

“I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it! I’m about to lose control and I think I like it!” Do you suppose the Pointer Sisters are into genealogy?
