Notes from the past…


I am so excited that I can barely sit still!!!

Family Search Labs has added the index to Texas Deaths, 1890-1976! I have so many ancestors who died in Texas during that time period….I don’t even know where to start! I have just done a few quick searches and have already found about 30 records. Now these are just the indexes, not the actual documents. But they may show dates of birth & death, dates of burial, location of birth & death, parents & spouses names, even children’s names. I have filled in a bunch of holes already! Of course, this info will not be official until I get the actual documents, but…WOW!!!

Here is what I found for my very long-lost 2nd great-grandfather. My previous belief was that he had died in Wyoming:
